Earth Hour: Turn Off Your Lights for One Hour

Earth Hour is a worldwide movement by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to bring individuals together to take action for the planet. More than 172 countries and territories worldwide participate in Earth Hour to create far-reaching environmental and social impact.

This year, Earth Hour takes place at 8:30 p.m. local time on March 25.  How can you participate? Turn off your lights for one hour to show your commitment to the planet and our collective fight against climate change.

Register here to share your event with the rest of the world, track what others are doing, and shine a light on climate change! Share your commitment by changing your Facebook Profile photo here to spread the word.

Expert tip: Charge solar-powered lights during the day in the sun to add sparkle to the night when you turn off your lights! No power cord or outlet required.

Earth Hour is more than an hour-long event. Go beyond Earth Hour and perform simple, environmentally-friendly actions every day. How will you do your part to #ChangeClimateChange?
